Legal
The agreement between PrepPath and the adult who creates or buys access to an account.
Effective date: 8 September 2026 | Version: Draft 1.0
These terms apply when you visit preppath.co.uk, create an account or buy or use PrepPath. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
PrepPath is operated by JV Media. Contact: hello@preppath.co.uk.
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract. Accounts and purchases are for parents, guardians or other responsible adults. A child may use learning functions only with the account holder’s permission and appropriate supervision. Do not create an account in a child’s name.
PrepPath provides independent online practice, explanatory content, progress tools and AI-assisted tutoring intended to support SEAG preparation. The product description shown at checkout, including the price and access period, forms part of our contract.
Independent service. PrepPath is not operated, endorsed or approved by the Schools’ Entrance Assessment Group, any school, examination body or education authority. “SEAG” is used descriptively. PrepPath does not guarantee any assessment score, school place or educational outcome.
[CONFIRM LICENCE: ONE LEARNER, ONE HOUSEHOLD, NUMBER OF DEVICES, AND ACCESS PERIOD.]
You must not: copy, republish, sell or distribute substantial parts of the service; scrape or systematically extract questions or data; bypass security or access controls; reverse engineer the service except where the law expressly permits; introduce malware; overload or disrupt the service; use automated tools without permission; use the service unlawfully; or submit content that infringes rights, is abusive or contains unnecessary sensitive information.
PrepPath and its licensors own the service, branding, software, questions, explanations, design and other content, except where stated otherwise. We grant the account holder a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the service during the purchased access period for private educational use. No ownership rights are transferred.
AI-generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable. It must not be treated as a definitive answer, professional advice or an official assessment prediction. The learner should check important points with a responsible adult, teacher or authoritative source. You are responsible for reviewing prompts before submission and must not include personal or confidential information.
Prices, taxes (if applicable), the access period and material restrictions will be displayed before purchase. An order is accepted when we send confirmation or activate paid access, whichever occurs first. We may reject or cancel an order before acceptance and refund any payment taken.
Access begins as described at checkout. Where immediate digital supply is requested during the statutory cancellation period, the checkout must obtain the express consent and acknowledgement described in the Payments, Cancellations and Refunds Policy.
We aim to keep PrepPath available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may perform maintenance, correct content, update features or make proportionate changes. If a paid service is materially reduced during the purchased period, statutory rights and the refund policy apply.
We may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary for security, non-payment, unlawful use or a material breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will give notice and a chance to remedy the issue. Suspension or termination does not remove rights that arose before it.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, PrepPath is provided for domestic educational use and we are not responsible for business losses, loss of opportunity to obtain a school place, or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract began.
You have legal rights where digital content or services are not supplied with reasonable care and skill, are not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose or as described, or where we do not have the right to supply them. These rights are not restricted by these terms.
If a court finds part of these terms unlawful, the rest continues. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer the contract without consent; we may transfer it only where this does not reduce your rights. No third party has a right to enforce these terms unless the law says otherwise.
These terms are governed by Northern Ireland law. As a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory protections of the part of the United Kingdom where you live. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable consumer law may hear disputes. Please contact hello@preppath.co.uk first so we can try to resolve the issue.
The version accepted at purchase applies to that order, subject to changes required by law or reasonably necessary for security or functionality. We will give reasonable notice of material changes affecting an active paid period and explain any available remedy.
